Because they are soooooo precious to us, it is vital that we ensure their safety when traveling in the car with us. Going on outings and adventures are so much a part of their lives and ours, but we need to ensure that they are strapped in safely.

Introducing our new Car Safety Strap that is an easy accessory to add to your K&G wardrobe. They come in all matching Collections and fit perfectly with our Strap Harness, ensuring that your Dog is not only super Stylish, but Safe & Stylish.

Each Safety Strap comes with a Clip on either end and is adjustable up to 1.5m. They attach in two simple ways to your vehicle:

A) Attach the one end of your Car Strap to the top D-ring in your dog's Strap Harness, loop the strap around or through your back seat headrest and attach the other end to the bottom D-ring in your dog's Strap Harness. Adjust the length as needed depending on your dog's size; or

B) Connect any of your back seat Seat Belts by placing the seat belt clip into the socket. Then loop one end of your K&G Car Safety Strap through the bottom part of the car seat belt, attaching one end of the Car Safety Strap to the top D-Ring of your Dog's Strap Harness and the other end to the bottom D-ring of the Harness. Adjust the strap to your preferred length for your Dog.

Our Straps are also lined with 100% cotton webbing, ensuring strength and breathability. It's vital that your dogs not only look great, but are safe and comfortable too.

Our Strap Harnesses have a Y-front design, ensuring support around the shoulders and no chaffing under the dogs paws (armpits). Strong straps and hardware ensure that in an emergency brake, your dog's are securely attached, supported at their shoulders and at their ribcage. The Strap Harness is purchased separately to the Car Safety Strap listed here. You can also purchase the matching Lead, to ensure that when you leave the car, you can disconnect the Car Safety Strap and attach the matching Lead... all set for your stylish walk and adventure.

These Car Safety Straps can be purchased individually, however we strongly recommend buying them as a set with the matching Strap Harness.

DO NOT attach our Car Safety Strap to your dog's collar... in an emergency brake situation, your dog will take all the force around his/her neck which will harm your dog. Only use with a secure harness.

Care Instructions:

As with all well used accessories, your Car Safety Strap is going to get dirty. We recommend a simple hand wash in cold water, rinse well and leave to dry flat in a shaded area. Re-iron if necessary.
